I thought this was one of those things to grab stuff from the top shelf if you can’t reach it.
This requires being plugged in.
The Black & Decker 18 Volt Alligator is what I have and it is much better. I also have a B&D 18V Pole Saw
The most important lesson I’ve learned from using a pole pruner:
If it doesn’t reach the branch you’re trying to get to while holding the pruner at an angle, do not stand directly under the branch and stare at it while cutting it.

I own one of these. My wife gave it to me last year. I had to take down 4 blue spruce trees last summer and this helped me reach some of the higher branches before switching to a regular chainsaw for the trunk. It worked well. When the extension arm is on and you’re reaching as far as you can it’s quite top-heavy. But, if you’re careful it really makes the job easier.

At least I was wearing a face shield. It didn’t help with the impact but I didn’t get sawdust in my eyes.
