Hi there. We can’t ship to some states because they have restrictions on selling to those under 18. We can’t verify the age of the buyer so we can’t sell to those states.
Where do I change my age? I’m over 18 but it’s blocking me.

I joined Woot in 2006. I had been an old fart college professor for 25 years. How can I prove that I was more than 2 years old at that time?
It wouldn’t feel so bad if the product listing just said, “Can not sell to anybody in California, Illinois, . . .”

Yeah. It’s that we can’t ask you for proof like a drivers license. And I’ve asked for the states to be updated but it’s a manual process (like everything else on our site) and it’s just one person that updates the no-no list each day for the entire site.
I think people would be less apt to break the law if we told them they couldn’t do something because it’s on the no-no list. “No, you can’t steal that car! It’s on the no-no list!”
