WORX WR165 Landroid S 1/8 Acre Robotic Lawn Mower

WORX WR165 Landroid S 1/8 Acre Robotic Lawn Mower

Is this better than the yellow RoboMower bought here on Woot in January 2005?

Hard to see the underside, looks like only one cutting blade vs 3-blades on my RoboMower. Otherwise, I’m sure this Worx is lightyears ahead on everything else (battery, brains, quality, etc…).

The one I bought for my aunt, the RL500? She never wanted to use it

I’m fascinated by these robotic mowers but what I want/need is one that can move on a steep 30° hillside. I’ll mow the flat parts of a yard myself.

This would be a lot cheaper: How to make automatic lawn mower - simple rope hack - YouTube

As an analogy, robot vacuums have improved over many years and so will these. I’d like it to handle slopes too.

Goats eat everything BUT grass. Sheep on the other hand…

Robotic mowers work great on artificial grass,

Yep same here I got a nasty 35% hill in between two flats and would pay a stupid amount of money for a machine that could just cut the hill

I need a yard robot that picks up dog crap.

I like the idea of how it uses a camera attached to house to set it’s boundaries. The autobot grass cutter needs the same tech

Goats definitely eat grass. Source: I own goats.

So does it include a 2.0Ah battery or a 6.0Ah battery? The description mentions both.

This thing must be tons of fun to clean…

I admit, I would buy the Beetl poop scoop, but alas It has not made it to market yet - they are working on it being able to mow grass at the same time

Just a prototype at this point due to many concerns. Some are discussed here(cleaning being one of them):

As a Great Dane owner, I can absolutely confirm that the “scooper” would need to be much larger…
