XBOX game pass ultimate Code not working/redeemable - different region code

Hello,

I have a similar issue as some people on here who purchased the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time card several months ago and I cannot redeem it due to it being from a different region. I talked to customer service and they told me I cannot get a refund or exchange it. However, I see people on here have had some luck by posting here so I am doing the same. Is anyone able to help?
