Is it worth the price?
$49.99 at the mothership for a new one of these - not sure this is worth it?
YETI Rambler 64oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle with Cap (Stainless Steel) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DI3YJSO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4dGGBbCDZQ6A5
Not sure which store I saw these at recently (Marshalls or Ross), but they had an endcap loaded with these bottles for around $36. These bottles were on Woot for around $35 not too long ago. Not even sure if these are authentic YETI bottles. The ones that I have seen at REI (not the same exact model and much more expensive, though) do not have seams whereas these bottles do have seams.
I think not since they are available at retail stores for much less - around $35.
I paid 35.00 on this site a few months ago, not sure why they are so much more now. Wanted to buy another one and was excited to see these , but will not purchase at this price .
These bottles are really good.
I picked up 2 on the last sale.
They hold ice well, even when left in a hot car.
Plus they double as a growler on trips.
You’re going to want to get the sip spout, for about $10, that makes it easier to pour and drink from.
This model is a closeout in the 64 oz size.
Yeti changed to a different handle style, and it’s more of a jug/cooler bottle.
Personally, I like this style much better.
It also fits neatly into the sling growler pack, from Frost River.
I can’t comment on durability, since I’ve been careful not to drop them or give them any rough handling.
It comes down to price…this sale is higher than the last one, but that was in conjunction with Prime Day…so maybe that’s not a fair comparison.
If you want to drive around looking for this in the local store, burning gas and time to maybe save maybe $10, go for it.
But if you want the bottle, prefer the convenience of a couple of taps then home delivery, this deal is OK.
Good thermos bottle, at a decent price.
Which Frost River, the Half Gallonish Canvas Bucket or other?
I got the sling growler pack, with the padding and drawstring.
But the bucket would work too.
