Yorkshire Tea Taylors of Harrogate, Red

Do these have a best by date?

Hi there. These are being pulled from Amazon inventory so that information isn’t available. That said, Amazon is [usually] pretty good at removing expired inventory.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

A pretty good price!

I just snagged one for my wife; she loves the UK tea brands. We used to have to buy them near our cottage in Canada, but they’re becoming more readily available in local grocery stores here stateside.

I’ve bought these a couple of times on Woot and the best by date has always been about 18 mos in the future.

These are my new favorite winter drink. With a shot of sugar free hazelnut & a bit of milk. Yummy. I would’ve ordered it, but I still have a full box from woot last year. I bought 2. I have so many different kind of teas. It’s time to start making iced teas again.

Thank you Woot!
Could do with more than 2 boxes though.

We like Yorkshire and PG tips for a quick carefree cuppa, because sometimes I’m lazy and haven’t gone through my six pound bag of teavana looseleaf lol

My wife loves them all; except herbal varieties. She’s one of those people who began drinking tea as a small child and quickly developed into a confirmed addict; thanks to her Ireland-born maternal late grandmother, who would only drink the garden variety Liptons.

We have a cupboard devoted strictly to tea.

I went ahead & ordered 2 boxes dammit!

I like their tea too, both the red and gold, so I hopped right on this. Their bagged tea is surprisingly better than their loose leaf imo

Arrived already! That was quick. I wish BOCs would come as quick.

How does the taste compare to Twinnings English Breakfast?

Just got mine (less than 48 hours, so they were close by…); Date is November 2026.

Yorkshire is great for iced tea - 8-9 bags for 2 liters water, cold brew it for 24-48 hours. Optionally add sweetener to taste. I typically keep an unsweetened jug and one with 8 splenda packets added in the fridge.

I do suggest that, once you break the plastic wrap, the tea bags should go into a sealed container to keep them fresh. They can get a bit stale over time otherwise.

It’s my go-to soft drink, no more carbonated beverages for me. And since you get so many servings per box, it’s a super cheap and convenient alternative, too.

It’s, of course, also serviceable for hot tea, although I prefer Typhoo Extra Strong for my every day cup.

We received ours in one day! :+1:

I know these are sold out now, but they come up on Woot every now & then. For reference I received mine today & they are dated best before Nov 2026. Great deal

Just got my two boxes in today and both have a best by date of April, 2026. So, not as long as many who received November, 2026 dates, but still 10 months out. I really enjoy this tea from the previous times that I have bought it…tastes “smoother” than many other straight black teas…

Tried it just now; really good, strong black tea.

English breakfast is a smoother tea, but with a lighter flavor. This one for me is a bit bolder but can be over steep quite easily for a bitter flavor. Better tea imo but you have to set a timer if you’re like me lol
