Just got this a few days ago the shipping box was crushed and the gift set box inside was damaged slightly. Aside from that I checked the batch code on the cologne bottle itself it doesn’t match the batch code on the gift set box. Can anyone confirm that this is authentic and if the batch codes are not supposed to match? I read if you file a return there is a 15% restocking fee?? Never buying anything from Woot.com again ![]()

That’s false. Especially if there’s an issue with the product.
Sorry for the issues.
If you haven’t yet, please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.
Browser: Use the Woot! Customer Service form.
Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS, not Woot.
Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
Can a support team representative confirm this? Has anyone received a gift set and can verify if mismatched batch codes on the bottle and box indicate a problem? I read that it’s a sign the product may not be authentic. Are products sold by woot.com guaranteed to be authentic? I have contacted support and they issued a return label but I do not want to be charged a 15% restocking fee for the inconvenience of receiving potentially inauthentic products.
Gotcha! Thank you. It shows customer support have issued a return label, how do I make sure I avoid getting the 15% restocking fee charged?
Hi there. There’s no restocking fee as long as you’re not abusing our generosity. ![]()
Can you please confirm whether products sold by woot.com are guaranteed to be authentic? Also, I have a question about your FAQ:
" In the event the item being returned to Woot! is NOT found to be damaged or defective, you may be assessed a 15% restocking fee and the original shipping charge will not be refunded."
How can I know what your team may or may not determine as damaged or defective? Are the batch codes on the boxes of gift sets and inside the products supposed to match? Should I write to them again after receiving a return label? Is there no messaging center to track communication, only emails?
We’ve been in business for 20 years. We have vendors that we’ve worked with for years.
I don’t know the labeling standards for that product. Sorry.
Again, the restocking fee is an option for us if someone is abusing our return process.
By abuse you mean doing many returns? This is the first time I’ll be using the return policy, I’ve never returned anything to woot prior to this.
yes.
Also, I see that you were given a pre-paid return label on 4/17. That label comes from a UPS email address.
@ThunderThighs can you CANCEL the return request please.
No need to. Just don’t send it back and all’s good.
Thanks but I don’t want it to count as an abuse of returns for any future purchases! I appreciate you taking the time to reply and explain my many questions lol
