I am completely blown away at how people fall for this replacement for life gimmick and pay Retail price for these. First of all-for $4.99 for one is an okay price if you use the replacement program like 6 times or more but I’m sorry, $60-$70 for one with transferable warranty for life on every phone you own is ridiculous. What they don’t tell you is the replacement process is a pain in the a#*% and takes A week to get a replacement and some Companies actually require you to send them the broken one before you get ur replacement each time. Here’s the truth-all tempered glass products you get are rated at 9H hardness and just Cause it’s more expensive with a replacement warranty doesn’t make them any more durable. You’re paying for a replacement guarantee which is not worth it for $60 because you only have a particular phone on average about 3 years at which time, your replacements promise is then null and void or NLA applicable unless you manage to buy a phone that takes the same size protector and can Milk the warranty longer. This isn’t a bad deal tho at all… but word to the wise, don’t waste money on ridiculously overpriced screen protectors just to have a guarantee of replacement for as long as u have ur phone because it’s a giant ripoff and taking Advantage of consumers. And, By the way, don’t fall for the ones who promise to pay for your repair or replacement phone warranty if it breaks using their products like the liquid glass scheme. All liquid glass does is help protect against scratches and after 6 mos, wears down and doesnt Even do that. But if you break your phone and file A “claim” with them to pay for your replacement/repair, you’ll be sadly disappointed with the actual follow through and will Need to employ your war face for the drag out fight that’s in store for you all for it to end with you losing and/or giving up after being dragged through a ringer and put away still wet-because I’ve not met one person yet doing phone repairs and tech Support and providing Protective products to my customers for 8 years now who has ever had any success with the claim process with these companies who promise to replace your broken phone or pay for the repair. They’ll do everything in their power to worm their way out of upholding their false promises which is beyond me how it’s still going on being false advertising. Do yourself a favor and find A deal on tempered glass multi packs on Amazon and spend $5-$10 and have Your replacements ready to go when you break one and pay A fraction of the price. Lastly, this is a good deal not bad for $5 if you plan on using the replacement guarantee a few times anyways… but if you want a sturdy protector that is protective and dependable, a bit thicker to withstand even pretty heavy blows but doesn’t change your touch sensitivity at all… go with any kind of privacy type protector bc those kinds are way tougher and have Proven worthiness time and time Again and are A few bucks more than standard ones for $5-$10 multi packs. I’ve been working with umpteen brands and types Of screen protectors for iPhones and ipads And mobile Phones daily for 8 + years and have figured out which ones are best and which ones are complete waste of money. I’m a nutshell, they’re pretty much all the same. Know what ur buying if you wanna save some cash and refuse To be fooled by these empty promises and lengthy Processes jumping through hoops after shelling out upwards of $100 for something you could have bought four of at once for a fraction of the cost for the same exact thing
