I had never seen a crowfoot wrench set before this listing, I was hesitant from the start but this is hysterical
Ok, so we know the photographer isn’t handy with tools or doesn’t know how to use them. Maybe both. LOL
Does this even come with the ratchet handle dealie? It’s in some pictures but not in the spec.
Not included. They’re showing what it is and how it’s used. Without those photos, I would have been dumbstruck.
I wondered the same thing, it’s a 14 pc set and there are 14 wrench heads so the pivoting ratchet handle isn’t included. Not sure what the point is honestly.
Thanks. That’s a deal-breaker, I’m afraid.
Dave, nobody sells a set of crowfoot wrenches with a ratchet wrench. I’m not sure why that would be a deal breaker. These are fairly specialized tools so you either need them or you don’t. Included ratchet should weigh on your decision. It’s like not buying a set of racing slicks because it doesn’t come with the race car included.
I was considering it as a gift for my father-in-law, but don’t want to give him something that obliges him to another purchase if he doesn’t have something suitable already.
Takes a standard 1/2" ratchet, if your father in law works on cars odds are high he has one, very common tool for larger size sockets.
About 10-15 $ cheaper than I’ve found for a 2 inch crowfoot set.
For @$3ea, if you ever have to work on a piece of hydraulic equipment (tractor, backhoe, dozer etc.) that needs a hose changed, you’ll be sorry you passed this up
