Yes you have to have salt and sugar to rehydrate it s formula listed for free on the WHO website. Oral rehydration salts.
I buy these all the time for medical reasons. I get them usually for $1 after using codes or a deal. So this is a good price.

We love Liquid IV at our house, but we call it Super Juice because my daughter hates needles and anything associated with them 
I always use a liter bottle for one packet, though. A 16oz bottle with a whole packet is strong. Iâve tried others like it and Liquid IV is the best!

Big warehouse store (the one with the law school) has it for the same price in many varieties and they do go on sale occasionally. But they are 24 or 30 packs so you have to buy more.

Yeah I buy them from there. $1 is the best I can find. They seem to refuse to make it in bulk form. I have suggested it to them for those of us who would use at home. Greedy.

This doesnât have any of that. I carry one on me (medical condition causes me to dehydrate quickly) and I can just pour into a water bottle and SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE!
