“Hand wash only” was a non-start. No way I’m remembering to do that, let alone doing it.

The only thing I follow instructions for are things way too expensive to ruin (my Chanel suit jacket, for example). Otherwise, my clothes face a harsh reality quickly and learn to be machine washed.
