Has a new battery been installed?

The battery is tested to make sure it’s at about 80%.

What grade refurbished is the 2TB model?

Any cosmetic issues at all?

What is the minimum battery life?

What is the return policy if I’m not happy with the purchase? Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Thanks

WOOT!'S HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY - Items purchased from Woot between 11/1/2024 and 12/31/2024 may be returned by contacting Woot! customer service by 1/31/2025 for a FULL REFUND. There are some restrictions, which are here.

Thank you

It says …

For returns for items containing a lithium-ion battery, please contact customer service at support@woot.com

Given this is about a grade a refurbished iPad I’d like to understand the risk to me if I don’t like the condition it comes in or the unit has unacceptable cosmetic or functional issues.

CS would help you out with an RMA. :slightly_smiling_face:

And they usually pay for shipping, unless one abuses the policy.

Who is the iPad refurbished by?

Hello. It’s refurbished by one of our vendors.

When you say it’s refurbished by one of your partners, what does that mean? What does refurbishing actually include? Do the test and clean it and that’s it? Or do they replace the outer case if there is cosmetic damage?

“Refurbished” covers everything from buyers’ remorse returns and products whose defects have been repaired by the pros to damaged packaging and discontinued items. If you can accept their checkered past, refurbs have a lot of love to give.

Which cellular data plans can I use looking for T-Mobile or Verizon

Hello. Here’s Apple’s list. Quite a few to choose from .

Something doesn’t add up here. Either you are wrong or you are misleading people with this sale. The iPads are listed as Grade A refurbished. According to woot that means these are like new. Why would the battery be at 80% if these were like new?

For reference here is the Wood Refurbished Grading Glossary

Factory Reconditioned – A “factory reconditioned” item was returned, inspected, and restored to fully working condition by the original manufacturer or a certified partner. Each product comes backed by a manufacturer warranty OR our very own Woot! Warranty. It’s as close to new as you can get without technically being “new” but may show very slight signs of a previous life.

Grade A Refurbished - A “Grade A Refurbished” item was returned, inspected, and restored to fully working condition, but not by the manufacturer. Each product comes with our Woot! Warranty. It’s the same level of quality as a “Factory Reconditioned” item.

That’s the battery standard for non-new electronics. Amazon has the same threshold.

So are you admitting that the Grade A is not a like new device and this item is no Grade A? I’m trying to clarify this discrepancy of the advertised item and your statement.

It will look like new. I’m not gonna debate you.

If you’re unhappy with it, you can return it.

I am wondering if they are unlocked as it says WiFi and cellular?

iPads aren’t locked. See the list here for carriers.
