This is the replacement filter, not the whole thing.
You should edit your post and make that clear

I bought one…

maybe it’ll get the pot smell outta my house

It says this unit cleans 350 square feet but when I look at the exact same product on Amazon it says 150 square feet meaning this must be the bedroom version??

Can anyone comment on energy consumption? Like is this comparable to leaving an A/C window unit on all day or a large television or a space heater?

To put it plainly, is this gonna rack up my electricity bill?

Without knowing its electrical rating you can’t be exact but it shouldn’t be any more than an average sized fan. Pennies…maybe nickles.

Fantastic Deal…I’m in for one!

Hope I can use teh $20 rebate being that I don’t have a cash register receipt. Either way its a great deal.

Thanks for posting the rebate flydog!

Filters @ Allergy Relief & Hypoallergenic Products | National Allergy

this is the $16.99 filter site… six @ a time

That website has the rebate offer on it, so maybe they will accept an online invoice as the receipt?

It is 120V, 60HZ, 1.0A according to the label on the bottom.

Wow, seems like a lot of people like this purifier. I have an old Holmes one that is noisy as heck.
In for 1!

Well I am in for one, A bit worried though still have not got my Black and Decker Battery’s from the 1’st wonder when they will get here. Wonder when this will.

I bought the FAP03 which is a little larger version for $75 on clearance at Best Buy. We are pretty happy with it. They had this one there too, can’t remember the price. Slickdeals had it posted…some were finding the large one (FAP03-RS) for as low as $49.

replacement filters that I think will fit this available closeout at some BestBuy stores for $11.99!!!

Hi. I’m confused as to all the Amazon prices and links. I found it on Amazon and double checked the exact model number and it was listed for $130. However, and this is WEIRD, Amazon says it cleans the air in rooms up to 150 sq. ft. Woot says 350 sq. ft. ???

Also, I’m with everybody else- does the Woot packing slip (or a printout of the purchase page) count as a cash register receipt? If it does, good. As far as the price, I would be a little concerned, too, that they might not honor it because the sale price is ridiculously low, BUT there is NOT a minimum purchase amount price listed. So, if they accept the ā€œreceiptā€ they would have to honor the rebate at the $39.99 purchase price because there’s no statement on their site that says otherwise.

I sure hope the link works - that was my first time.

I have a GE air purifier, and it works amazingly! I just love it, i clean the outside filter when i see the dust build up, amazing how much dust gets sucked outta the air!

Upon seein this deal on woot, i went over and checked on the filters on the inside…and good lord…gonna try and clean those suckers tomorrow…pure dust…i shut the door to the filters and a cloud of dust went everywhere! lol. I never shut mine off, like ever.

Im headin back home from college here in a few weeks and will take my purifier with me, but i still really like this woot deal, debating if i really need it or not is another thing, dont know what i would do with 2 :stuck_out_tongue:

Love the description with the ā€œhiddenā€ meaning. It made me laugh. XD

It’ll use 120 Watts of electricity which is very low. It also has a three speed setting which would draw less power at lower speeds.

A ceramic heater (small personal use) uses around 1450watts.

Oh ho. It’s like you’ve read my mind–I was getting tired of the POS $30 faus-HEPA Holmes purifier and was looking for a replacement. I saw something like this at Wal-Mart for $99… well, there goes my hope of saving up some money. At least it’ll be a worthy investment. Count me in for one.

Looks like a winner to me with or without the $20 rebate.

The specs don’t match the part number.

The specs describe the FPA03 (room size, weight, etc), including the filter replacement part number.

The part number listed in the woot is FPA02, which according to specs covers less than half the space (150 vs 350 sq feet). Can we get a clarification? I would get it if it covers the 350 sq feet.

WOW, this couldnt of came at a better time, with my electronics and all, i have been eye air purifiers because of how much dust i see daily due to the air vents…and we all know how electronics love to collect dust. So I’ve been eyeing all types and looking for sales and guess what woot comes thru…I love you woot, Im in for 1, i need it in the living room mainly since thats where i live :-p

Btw this is my 1st woot ever…Im now a wooter

Woot listing is screwed up. I am not sure really what model they are planning on sending folks.

The listing is for a 3M FAP02-RS Filtrete Ultra Clean Air Purifier. But the specs and description don’t match up. They list it as being for a 350 foot room, weighing 22lbs and comming with a FAP03 filter. If the description is to be believed they are actually selling the FAP03-RS which is the 350 foot unit that takes a FAP03 filter. If the title of the item is to be believed they are selling the smaller FAP02-RS unit that only does 160sq ft.

I kind of wonder what they are really gonna ship everyone, as the model and description don’t exactly match up.
