We don’t need no stinkn’ filters. Nosotros somos mal hombres.

Guess I’d have to visit the 3M site to get part numbers for the right filters. A quick visit to the one store to rule them all did not help much.

So what is the proper way to measure your face???

We’re headed to Hong Kong in March. Wondering something similar.

I wondered the same thing about the fact it’s only Large size. I did find this site that says 80% of people fit the medium. Other than that, not finding info on how to determine the size mask to buy. This is one of those I’m always hesitant to buy online because I can’t test fit it.

Anyone see measurements to discern the difference?

Where do you get the filters?

When I was putting together my “epidemic box” a couple years ago, I made sure I got extra filters. People tend to get a mask and 1 set of filters (that come with the mask) and think they are good to go. Depending on the situation, most of these filters are a one time use, and only good for 30 minutes to a few hours of exposure.

As far as filters go for this mask (as with the 6800 version). 6001CN Organic Vapor Cartridge is a decent cart for any bug coming your way, but if it was me (hint hint), this would be the best choice.

Personally, if I’m going to trust my life and those of my loved ones when buying these masks, this isn’t somewhere you want to skimp on costs. Military issued masks are to do one thing and one thing only. Allow the person wearing said mask to LAST longer then the enemy. It’s not really suppose to keep you alive forever, just long enough to fight longer. Thats why you need more canisters. And if you are getting these because you might experience some type of local incident and need time to get out of dodge, make sure you have enough cartridges to do so.
