The listing says 14-PC and the description describes seven items; however the details says 14 glass bases and 14 plastic lids.
Woot, which is it?
[MOD: 7 bases & 7 lids is correct]
yeah, math has been an issue at woot for a while! lol
with any luck , you too, will get the coveted Knit Picker badge !
“Given to show appreciation to Wooters for making our site better. Thank you.”
That’s the second really bad typo lately. Woot, do you need CE? I work hourly on demand. For cheap! Reach out.
Yes. I’m curious as well. Typically in a set like this the bowls and lids are counted separately. A 14 piece set is only 7 bowls.
7 glass bowls for $19 is a pretty good deal. But 14 bowls for $19 is a fantastic deal.
Based on q&a from the item at the mothership, it appears this is actually 7 containers with lids. Very deceiving WOOT!
7 x 2 . They all count the same way . I remember at Costco once bought the same thing . 32 pieces of not mistaken . Came home was 16x2 . I returned simply because of that .
it’s “nit” picker, a reference to picking the empty egg cases from lice out of a persons hair.
Yes, but the badge reads “knit”
Let that synch inn four a moment.
ERROR CORRECTED
Hi all. Sorry for the confusion. The Amazon listing had an error in the first bullet about the number of pieces. We’ve corrected our features. It’s seven pieces and seven lids.

FYI: We’ve had these for around a year. Through a misunderstanding, my wife ended up buying all 3 alternatives Amazon has for glass storage containers, and this is the variant that has held up the best. The lids are slightly fidgety, but are super secure and have held up to the dishwasher top rack. I don’t feel like they “nest” very well, largely because they are glass, so our drawer that used to hold ~40 plastic 2 cup containers nicely organized, now has these 3 7pc sets and is a disaster. Also, they seem to break easier than I expected, I’ve had them shatter when falling <1ft onto the soft plastic lip of the fridge. But, they’re glass, so breakage comes with the territory.
One other alternatives include ones similar to this but with blue hinged clips for the lids (rather than one piece molded clips), those ones the blue rubber seal falls out and is fairly annoying to put back in. The seals in this kit have not had that problem.
The other alternative has blue plastic lids that you just press into place on top of the container. Those lids cannot be dishwasher washed, even on the upper rack, or they crack. We’ve had almost all of them crack over the last year. I’ve replaced some of them with silicone lids which work great, but are $10/lid.
Staff Experience:
I have the 20 piece version of this from a year ago and generally, these are great (though the small pieces are like …really small. Not sure what people store in them). But the big pieces have been great.
Glass is heavier but I switched over to it because it doesn’t stain, which is an issue for me given I cook with a lot of different spices.
We need a “Thanks! This is genuinely helpful” response emoji or something. No idea what that would look like, but I’m sure @ThunderThighs will think of something.
Thanks, @linsomniac and @arsibaba1 ! This is genuinely helpful!
I see what you did there! Synch inn… Sink in
I use the
Unfortunately, that emoji is sometimes used sarcastically, so i was thinking I’d err on the side of caution. But point taken, since we are all VERY mature here and would NEVER be sarcastic or hostile to one another!
They probably have to be PC, and all, since head lice is prob a sensitive thing… lol
A Knit Picker is a fabric tool used to remove snags from clothes and fabrics . It has a small hook that grabs the snag, and can then be pulled through to the interior side to remove it. The hook is very fine to ensure it gets under the snag.
Nothing to do with being PC.
Hint: How does one earn the “Knit Picker” badge?
