I am annoyed.
The woot description of this item includes “Machine wash entire bed on cold; cover is not removable”
It just arrived, and the tag clearly states “Spot clean only… Do not wash”
I saw some comments about that in the Amazon reviews and was hoping it was one of those cases where multiple products were reviewed and lumped together under one listing. Nope.
This is an Amazon Basics product, so I expected the Woot description to be accurate.
I also ordered the gray, so I assume it’s going to be the same case.
Hi there. Unfortunately, we can only be as accurate as the manufacturer is - in this case Amazon. As you can see, their bullet points state that it’s machine washable.

Thanks, I’m only mildly annoyed. I knew it was a possibility, I was just hoping it was actually washable.
But I’m getting two for less than the price of one over there, so it’s fine.
You know who else is going to be annoyed but doesn’t know it yet? The UPS driver who had both on the truck but only dropped off one. They get to come back later.
