If I didn’t already have one, I’d definitely buy this. It’s nowhere near as advanced as Google in terms of answering questions, but it’s great for making a grocery list, knowing what the weather will be like, easily setting timers and alarms, and voice controlling the lighting in my apartment using the Phillips Hue bridge and bulbs. I keep the smaller version, Dot, on my nightstand, so I can control my lights without having to yell across the apartment. The Dot, unlike the echo, also allows me to link bluetooth speakers to compensate for its weaker speaker.
