Is it just apps or is their a browser involved for searching subjects and info? Can a browser such as BING or SONOs be downloaded?
Good price considering they are basically disposible…not useful for much except for playing ‘Pandora’, checking the newspaper and the weather. Can’t watch a movie without it ‘buffering…’ multiple times so I don’t bother trying anymore. Commercials even ‘buffer’! My 2024 version has basically stopped being ‘useful’ at all. Webpages freeze, pictures won’t load completely…and this version is 2021! Can’t even imaging the lack of functionality!
These are by far the best tablets for kids under 12. If you’re wanting something for your kid the ecosystem is unbeatable. For an adult they’re absolute crap
2021 version?? That thing probably has covid. Why would you buy a 2021 version of anything electronic. They’re obsolete the day after you buy it!
If you have tethering on your phone plan, buy one of these for each back seat that will be occupied for your long Christmas road trip in a few weeks. For $18 it’s a no brainer. If your kids are the age you’re considering a case. Just double up on devices. The cases are close to the price of the device.

Anyone happen to know if the ram is different between the gig sizes? I know sometimes it changes with the capacity. I couldn’t quite find it in my searching
just jailbreak it, delete all the bloatware and forced ads, and you’re good to use it fully like any other android tablet.

I use these tablets to play the game, Township. They are very laggy compared to my iPad. Also, the on screen keyboard is really funky. It will lock me out from typing. I didn’t realize I had two of the 2021 model and two of the new model. The new one probably works better. These would probably be fine for a kid to use in the backseat as someone mentioned. I do Buy cases for them which are about 10 bucks on Amazon.
