What version and generation? I’m looking to get a cover/stand and there are some that are specific to different Generations
It’s this one. They don’t give it a generation/version that I see.
If it is a 2021 release as woot claims, then it is an 11th generation.
I went with a “universal” case as I started with a (discounted) 2019 but expected to replace it before support ended – which according to Amazon, would be this year. They offered a $20 trade-in + 20% off a new one last month, so I upgraded.
At $8, this was the cheapest case available at the time. It would’ve felt wrong to pay more for a case than the tablet itself, y’know.
FWIW, the 2021 and 2023 Fire HD 10 share the same case design.
Screen protectors, I got from Amazon’s disappointment equivalent to Temu, Amazon Haul. I still overpaid, though. When I bought them, it was 60% off of $2.99. Subsequently, there was an 80% off special. ![]()

Does anyone know if the Slate color is actually the Plus version? My understanding is that Slate was exclusive to the 2021 HD 10 Plus model (and the only color it came in). I ordered one & am boring enough to order the Slate instead of other colors…so I’m hoping to be pleasantly surprised if this is the case.
From our buyer, “Yes it appears the Slate is the Plus version, so it looks like he will indeed be pleasantly surprised.”
Did anyone else get the wrong charger? In the charging specs it says it comes with a 9 watt charger that will charge the tablet in 4 hours, I received a standard Amazon 5 watt charger that slow charges the tablet. Im not sure how to get the correct charger I really don’t want to spend another $20 for the official 9 watt charger on Amazon. Thanks

Contact support as noted, but FWIW, any USB charger will work. Doesn’t matter if it’s USB-A or USB-C – it’s fine. I never even pulled the charger out of the box for mine since I have plenty of other places to charge.

Yep. Mine came with the 5 watt charger as well.
The problem isn’t that it will not charge with the included charger, but that it will not charge as fast as the 9 watt charger listed on the product page.
Were you able to get a 9W replacement? I just tried charging mine and realized I got a 5W adapter.
