I received a 2nd gen model - which is not the 3rd gen model advertised in the Woot. I am returning it. I am wondering how Woot let it happen?

I mean, humans were involved. To err is human. Someone could have grabbed from the wrong pile, stocked the item in the wrong pile, etc. Anyway, sorry for the error.

This is a bait and switch seller. I ordered the iPad Pro 3 as advertised and I too was sent an iPad Pro 2.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.

I was in the same situation. I am still waiting for my refund from Woot. I also ordered a second IPad 3 12.9 inch model (refurbished). It was from the same vendor “Limitless USA” and the unit was 3rd gen model, however, it was not in a good shape with a big scratch on one side of the frame so it was returned, too. Woot, please work with quality suppliers.

What kind of damage do these refurbished unit have? Is screen good? How about the batteries?

We’ve sold over 100 with only two reports of the wrong model being shipped.

I just received the first of 2 orders and it, like others have stated, is a Gen 2.

Well mine becomes your third report of the wrong item being shipped. I’m waiting for the 2nd of my 2 orders and I hope that does not become your forth report of the wrong item being shipped.

I had the same thing happen to me, i was told they would replace it for the correct product. Fi gers crossed.
