It’s hard to say whether Apple will support 6th generation in iPasOS 18, but they are supporting it for the upcoming iPadOS 17.
I would suspect that this will not get iPadOS 18 based on the age and support of prior iOS releases.
Not that this then renders the device unusable, but it’s good to know when the device potentially looses support from apple.
I have a question maybe someone can answer. I should probably ask this in an Apple forum but it just came to me when I saw this item. I have an older iPad mini. The last OS was 15 but it’s still getting security updates. I know they will stop at some point and I will probably buy a used iPad mini of the newest version. Just curious if it drops off the security update list when the new iOS is released next month, is there much danger in continuing to use it with single task apps that are often updated? I’m not talking about a web browser but something simple like Netflix or the Roku app that are often updated?
Another question, would anyone even bother trying to hack into a Netflix app running on an old device. Seems like all the money to be made is in data breaches, and computer ransom scams etc. It would be nice to be able to use it for something besides an offline picture viewer. Thanks.
PS Don’t take this as any kind of criticism…it’s amazing that devices that came out in 2015 are still receiving these updates. I guess I’m curious how up to date the security is in the dev software for these 3rd party apps.
Who refurbishes these, does that mean it has a new battery[Where can we get replacement batteries for our old iPads? Anyone know what that would cost?]? None without a bundle?Will the kids case only come in that color.

New battery in refurbished items? 90 day return(Free shipping back only if defective?) or warranty?… What happens in an hour when this deal expires? They go back to the warehouse, sold at Amazon? Increases or decreases in price?
What kind of scratch and dents? Why not show pictures of Actual items?I hope the descriptions are not as inaccurate as Amazon warehouse! I guess the other bundle items are new?

If you’re using a out of date device for functionality that does not involve sensitive information (banking / bills / credit cards / etc), the risk of danger is low. It’s unlikely that someone is going to hack your Netflix app on your out of date iPad to steal your credit card. I’ve used out of date devices in the past to stream music / watch netflix / control home automation devices / etc. without issue.

The Netflix app usually supports pretty old devices. I can’t speak to other apps but that one seems to work well on old(er) hardware. Other apps, not so much (if they work at all). And if the app doesn’t work, then it just doesn’t work. There’s no “hacking” to get it working well.
