Too expensive for a 10year old 128gb old model

Grade A should just be called scratch, dent, dinged, binged, bit dirty and rough. Bought the Grade A, expecting it to be refurbished. Internally, it may be but externally is another story. Came bubble wrapped with the cord just thrown in with it, obviously used (think cord is supposed to be white but is now gray because if human oil and dirt). Hinge is probably original hinge, plenty of wobble, the corners, yes all four corners, of the screen bezel are bent inward on the metal portion of the chassis and it’s missing a screw. Wife is a fan of Apple, I am not, and this is just more reason for me not to ever buy an Apple product. I’ve bought refurbished before, plenty of refurbished, and yes, you can typically tell they were used before but they looked “as close to new as you can get without getting new”. This looks like I bought it in a pawn shop. Not impressed.

Awful grade “A.” Either this merchant is out to scam you, or the people that are working for them have special needs. Returning mine, w/in 15 seconds of opening the box and finding that whoever “refurbished” this laptop couldn’t even run a wet rag over the keyboard, cable and chassis. Not mentioning that the OS will get stuck every step of the way during deployment. Looking for other options around.
