This is really neat! Seems like it contains the wood fueled fire pretty well too.

I have one (didn’t buy from woot) and it is very nice.
What I do like about it is that you can see the fire on three (of the four) sides as opposed to that other giant round one where you can only really see the flame coming out of the top.
The fan/battery unit doesn’t get really hot and can be controlled via Bluetooth from your phone (so you don’t have to stick your face next to the fire to adjust).
As long as you don’t go above the top vents it can make a fairly smokeless fire.
Anyone have experience with cooking on this? We go camping a lot and this would probably be the way we would use it the most.
You can kinda cook; what makes it a little difficult is that the heat radiates out the sides (to some extent) as well.
Certainly do-able, and they make attachments to let you cook on top.
We love ours, it works great with wood or charcoal, or a mix. We cook on top, just make sure you get a long handled spatula! We did get the lid, and it’s great too! This thing is awesome!!!

I just got one and apparently, my 4 year old Samsung Galaxy S10 is too new for the app. Won’t download it. Are you using an iPhone with yours?
Says this on their site but the GooglePlay page says it hasn’t been updated since 2018.
