Do these work with Alexa, like the ones in the other pack (BN-LINK WiFi Heavy Duty Smart Plug Outlet) do?
I’m not convinced that the pictures match the product, though. The pictures talk about the wi-fi connectivity, but there is no mention of wi-fi in the name or write-up. It even goes out of its way to tell us that it DOESN’T use wi-fi.
Hello. From our team:
Listing is 100% correct.
*These plugs connect with Alexa via blutooth. Alexa connects to internet via Wi-fi 2.4G. *
Tell alexa or use your phone to turn on/off the plugs via blutooth connection. You can also set up schedules etc to control the plugs
This is beneficial as the individual plugs are eating up Wi-fi bandwidth. Actually pretty cool set up.
But if the echo dot is disconnected, the scheduled tasks won’t run? It’s also concerning that I can’t find these at all on BN-LINK’s site.
True but that’s the case with any smart thing connected to an Echo. If the Echo is off, it can’t run the schedules.
This may be an older or discontinued model. Found this:

Until this morning, I wasn’t aware that anything COULD be connected directly to an Echo - I thought they all had to use WiFi to be managed by Amazon.
