I am so confused I do not get this mischief week thing at all.

I missed everything bc my power went out and even my cell service bc of Imelda. I’m flooded in right now but at least we have power back after nearly 10 hours. My son is 6 and ASD/ADHD and he was not handling it well

People cry so hard about this. It’s supposed to be fun. I waited & tried for YEARS before I scored. Today I got lucky and got BOC #2 (I missed on like 4 before I got one later in the day). They are doing them waaay more than in the olden days. Just be patient & chill. Or save those pennies & buy a woot locker. I lived in the VOP for about a decade. Trust me. It’s not worth freaking out over or harassing woot like it’s some kinda conspiracy. It’s exactly what they say it is. Stuff they don’t want, you don’t need, but it’s fun to see what you end up with. Amen.

In your pondering of whether or not to continue letters in BOC please consider that it is quite possibly your biggest draw for repeat buyers it would be a mistake to get rid of probably your best marketing tool because your random box choices on a few occasions produced some non responsive letter recipients. Everyone in Wootville should not suffer because the Grinches don’t share the joy of possibly getting the Golden Crap Letter in a regular box of crap… watch Charlie and the chocolate factory then try to take away our remnants of childhood wonder in these letters…

Ah, if you quietly select the recipients as regular “share your crap afterwards”, you will likely get better response and WAYYYY more gratitude.

I disagree. As a Wooter for 10+ years, getting a BOC is cool but it’s not what keeps me coming back daily. No, IMHO, the biggest draw for repeat buyers are the normal everyday deals – something priced so that even folks who don’t need it now will buy it.
