Breville K-Cup Coffee Machine

I’m not a coffee guy however have been using a Keurig machine (B60 for about 2 years). I usually brew a cup of tea with a traditional tea bag every morning and use my machine as a hot water dispenser 80% of the time.

The best part is, since I’m not a big coffee guy and don’t have a hot pot ready when people are over… this thing is the best! People can chose what kind of coffee they want… brew it…and clean up after themselves all in under 90 seconds!

This model retails for $300 at Bed, Bath and Beyond, which is about double the price of the Keurig branded models… (running between $80-$170)… so this is a steal at this price!!!

Looks like this got some great reviews on Amazon… and they’ve got a refurbished one for $250!

The coffee in a K-cup is fresh, always. No mess, no cleanup. With Amazon subscribe and save, about 30 cents a cup. Buy your Keurig at Costco, and it’s warrantied for life. Sorry Woot.

FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT LOAD THE MAIN PAGE

I was planning to upgrade anyway, but I just upgraded to IE8, and I can now view the main page with no issues. I was previously using IE7. Just figured I would fill in the others that were having issues as well.

Bought one of these new about two years ago at Williams Sonoma for ~$300, when my wife and I were going to Starbucks, well, WAY TOO OFTEN. Have to say it run great, and even at that cost, it has saved us THOUSANDS as we now go to Starbuck$ only once or twice a month.

I ran the numbers at one point, and the break even for us was around 6 months. At this price, payback will be faster for those looking to wean themselves off the coffee shops.

Two best places for K-Cups:

And these guys, who let you build your own sample box:

Does is this have any warranty?

I bought this for $245.00 last November and I love it. I use the My K-Cup with Starbucks Gold Coast to make a Large travel mug, there are four different size settings. I think I will buy this one for my office. Here are some suggestions, pay an extra $3.00 and buy the My K-Cup from Breville, it’s much better quality than Keurg’s and shipping is free.

When you buy your coffee, be sure to get Extra Bold and have it ground for French Press. You should also buy your K-Cups from Bed Bath & Beyond, after you use their %20 coupon, it beats the cost on everyone and there is no shipping hassels.

Yeah, had trouble too with loading from sellout.woot. Did the upgrade this morning to IE 8…what gives…woot now supports IE 8 only??

Good review here…compares to Keurig B70.

In for one… also, if you use coupon code JULY04, you can get 30% off the Square Trade Warranty… only until 6PM today…

I figured this out because I have IE8 on my netbook that I bought off of sellout.woot a few weeks ago. It came with IE6 loaded, so I upgraded. I couldn’t get either site to work this morning on the laptop(IE7), so I tried the netbook, and it worked just fine. I upgraded to IE8 on the laptop and I could load the site with no issues.

Nope. Can’t open this page in IE7. And have a lot of friends who dumped IE8 for various problems so ain’t goin’ there yet.

But since the main page is ok, I’m assuming this is a hah-hoo problem.

Yeah Woot, you didn’t show the warranty terms!

It appears after using the google that this has a 90 day warranty. Manufacturers warranty is only a year when purchased new, so fat chance on getting more than that. Thanks a bunch to majorshopper…2 year warranty only $15 with code! Since this sells for $249 with a 1 year on Amazon, how can you go wrong! Thanks Woot!

I got one of these in November when they ran the deal. Love it. I didn’t buy the charcoal filter or the reusable K-Cup although they’re available if you contact Breville directly. (They’ll include the phone number in the unit when you receive it.)

Mine has worked incredibly well making 1-2 cups per day. Occasionally my coworkers will make a cup as well. I only use one K-Cup for a single serving of coffee.

The programmable features are great as well. I set the machine to start heating up right as I get into work and have it auto shut off after lunch. Tough to beat having a cup ready first thing in the morning!

Could you please explain the “major shopper” warranty for $15?

Also, if the has a 90 day warranty, would use of Amex (or other) debit cards double this?

umm…a user named majorshopper lists a code above you can use on square trade for 30% off…that makes a one year warranty around 10 bucks and a two year 15 and some change. Can’t speak to the Amex…I think they are busy rotting in hell.

Also, could someone help me explain to my wife why I spent $95 before she even woke up this morning? What is the best way you have done this with a woot purchase???

Better to ask forgiveness than permission. Ask me how I know!;D

The code is JULY04… tell your wife how much she’ll love KCups… when you receive this she’ll see why… I already own a Keurig B70, got this one to keep at my Mom’s… also, I agree with the poster who recommended KCups through Amazon… be sure to sign up for the plan where you can get the 15% discount.. I’ve never found anywhere with a better price, including BB&B… also, if you like flavored coffee, the Gloria Jean’s coffees are my favorite… the Buttered Toffee is excellent!!

What is exactly needed to use the My K-cup. The recondition unit stated the K-cup is not included. Looking at the part list, buying the complete My K-cup part will runs you about $18.

here is the list of items:

My K-cup filter holder $6.00
My K-cup coffee holder $6.00
My K-cup filter holder lid $6.00
