What kind of self respecting cat needs a pass door to get past a gate? Well, maybe a really old one who says “You know what, fuck this jumping shit. That type of thing is for a kitten. I did my time. give me a door to walk through.”
Have been using the tall black gate for 2 years now.Is very durable and easy to put together. With stands our 110 lb.German Shepard leaning on top of gate with front paws.We like it so much got a second one for backup.I don’t no anything about the white ones but the BLACK TALL ONE IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
Love these! I have the extra tall ones (they’re not selling that height today) because my dog gets too excited and can jump most other gates. The only downside is that our cats are about a year old and they still can fit between the bars and one doesn’t believe me when I tell him that our dog wants to eat him. So, long story short, it keeps the dog out, but even with the little door closed it doesn’t keep the cats in.
I bought these last time. The walk through part is VERY narrow. I find it difficult to squeeze through safely at the top of the stairs carrying a baby. We took it down and replaced it.
I’ve got one of these. Word of warning, your opening is anywhere near the max width, don’t bother. According to the packaging I could have just barely used the standard width, but I got the wider one just in case and it’s still too narrow to work properly.
The more you have to extend the screws on the side, the more flimsy the whole thing gets. Our dogs have quickly learned they can simply push on the gate until the whole thing flexes enough the small latch slips open. And it doesn’t take a massive dog to do it, the smaller one is only around 40 lbs. Even smaller dogs visiting have been able to walk right between the gate and the wall.
