I just bought a medium canister to go with this large one that I already have. All the Coffee Gator stuff I own is good quality and the customer service is great, too.
All the canisters have a replaceable cO2 filter (comes with spares) built into the lid that lets your beans off-gas so they stay fresh longer. We go through the beans in our smaller canister too quickly for it to make much difference but I could definitely tell when my son-in-law brought us a big bag of Kona coffee that filled the large canister.
The scoop sticks to the magnets on the side, but I never use it. It mostly just gets in the way and is easy to knock off. YMMV.
