Coffee Gator Canister, 64floz, W/ Magnetic Spoon

Coffee Gator Canister, 64floz, W/ Magnetic Spoon

We own this can and it is a great way to store beans, not just ground coffee (who pre-grinds such a huge amount of beans anyway?). Don’t let that “64oz” spec fool you - this can won’t even hold 2 lbs of beans. The spoon is solid and a nice narrow shape… and the magnets hold it fairly firmly to the side of the can. Maintenance tip - read the instructions - the little penny-sized vacuum filter is not supposed to get wet when washing the can, so remove it first. Extra vacuum filters included.

Interesting to see it show up here on Woot since Coffee Gator sells (sold?) them on their Amazon storefront, not Amazon directly.

It is currently out of stock at the Coffee Gator storefront (cancelled product?), but we paid $11.93 there a couple weeks ago. Would we pay $20? Perhaps, but it wouldn’t be as much of the no-brainer it was.

64 oz liquid, 22 oz beans, 19 oz ground beans.

Funny (not) how the moment this Woot deal at $20 sells out on Woot, the previous $11.93 deal on Amazon from Coffee Gator’s storefront comes back after magically being out of stock. Hmm. Coincidence? I think not.

Gosh darn it! Grrrrr

Turrible! And thanks for the pointer.
We have a Gevalia canister (with a vurra-similar rubber seal) we use. That seal does degrade with age, so this one looks like a good/timely “Better Than!” equivalent. Thanks!
