does this work for beer?
You have to add ice in order to get things to cool? I’ll just save $35 and use my ice bucket and a towel.

Been kinda looking for a wine chiller, but I want one I can program the temp on…doesn’t look like this one can do that…not really.
Do it ‘hillbilly style’. place the beverages in the washer, add ice, and hit the spin cycle.
Product info says “Safe to chill carbonated beverages like beer or soda, which will not foam over upon opening”, but in that case does the whole can fit inside? Will it hold 2 liter bottles of soda?
Hmmm… I wonder if my martini shaker would fit in this…
Aw geez, not again. This Home Woot-off is the worst one I’ve ever seen for turning up with things I didn’t know existed, thus never wanted, but must have once I see them here. First a rack to warm my dishes and now a holder to cool my beverage. Good thing tomorrow’s payday.
While I admit I am mildly curious as to how they are apparently violating the laws of thermodynamics here, I can’t begin to imagine how anyone would spend money on something that reduces the time it takes to chill a can of beer in ice water from 10 minutes (Thanks, Mythbusters!) to one minute.
It’s really neat to play with, we got one as a wedding gift. It’s crazy to watch, and great for big gatherings when you can’t keep up with cold beverages

At first, I thought the tailgate version might be handy. But if I need ice for the thing to work, I might as well just put my cans in the cooler with the ice.

I got one of these as a gift a couple of years ago and I love it! When you absolutely need a cold beer now, nothing else comes close!
I bought this for someone who likes to chill beer & pop in the freezer but frequently forgets to remove it before it’s frozen solid!
