Woot, your ny restrictions are a bit off here. I am in western ny and I have no restrictions on knives at all. I have bought several online. I think you include every zip code in ny as a restricted zone. Please fix this as I would love to buy one from you. I assure you 14225 is just fine to send this to.

they do the same thing to me, i’m in 14606. sucks, because Woot is the only one selling this blade!
The different colors are for the Snap-On version, not sold here. What was “exclusive” was that it had “Snap-On” on the knife. Otherwise it is the same, but one color.

Ken Onion design, but NOT a Kershaw made knife so all previous insight into the quality of his designs is not relevant.

KO hasn’t worked for Kershaw in years. He has his own company and designes some knives for CRKT.
The Snap-On version appears to be made in Taiwan. Can we get we get a Woot rep to confirm where this was produced? The Taiwan CRKT’s are usually much higher quality than China models.
I’m still kind’ve on the fence about this one, The blade shape and IKBS is cool, but black-coated blades are so mall ninja. The tip-down only carry also gives me a sad.

Did you actually try to buy it, or are you just reading the shipping restrictions?
Because they send knives to me in NYC. Every. Single. Time.
EDIT - Well I’m the ass. They finally stopped me from buying a knife based on zip code! First time! Oh well, I’ll save more money.
Other CRKT knives come with a special tool for disassembling the knife and cleaning muck out of the inner workings. Does this knife need the specific tool, or does it just take a screwdriver?
