I was about to buy this, but the reviews on Amazon are horrible.
So I’ve been down this wormhole before…
If you look at reviews for any brand of Dutch oven you’re going to get ones that complain about chipping. I have no idea why. But I personally own an amazon basics one and it’s fine so far and my mom has a cuisinart one and it’s also fine. Both get hand washed with no other special treatment.
My only advice is this: if you want it, get it. If it’s chipped contact customer service.
If it chips in three years from now, sell it as “vintage shabby chic.”
Why is the Dark Gray casserole retail price $250, while the Sage one is $90?
Gray is more tacti-cool than sage!
Possibly bought at different times by us and the vendor listed different prices. Or we purchased from different vendors and they each gave a different price.
