These speakers get 4.6 stars from 167 reviews at Best Buy. I just bought Logitech Z313 speakers from Best Buy for $36 and they are spectacular, they get 4.5 stars from over 1,400 reviews. I looked at these Cyber Acoustics but they were $54 if I remember correctly so I went with the Logitechs. Had this deal been available I probably would have bought these because they have an aux. input I would have liked to have. However I love mine and am amazed at how good the sound is for the price. I imagine I would feel the same about these speakers. If you’re looking for inexpensive speakers that sound great, this is a sweet deal.
these speakers are terrible. I bought a set a little over a year ago off amazon because of the high rating. They did not last at all. Scratchy feetback noises, the sub blew after only a few months, and i was not even playing music too loud.
I already have another set, logitech, much better. Again, these speakers are A WASTE OF MONEY! Look at the bad reviews on amazon, this is exactly what happened to mine.
Bought this set approximately a month ago from woot! at the same price offered this date. Installed them w/LG TV in the master bedroom.
So far, they have performed just about as well as described here and elsewhere. That’s just one month of fairly low-key use, so six months from now, the tune being sung may be quite a different one.
But, for now, these are good enough for the price and just about as good as the Logitech system used w/my wife’s desktop computer…
I was looking for a new set of speakers after my GROove gave out. These are amazing so far. I scouted a pair like them on Amazon and it had mix reviews. This pair seemed to be a higher class and I absolutely love them. Setup could be a bit frustrating, but as long as you follow the instructions it’s a breeze. Amazing sound and the bass isn’t overpowering as of yet.
While the sound is what you’d expect installing them on a desktop can be cumbersome. If you wanted to put the speakers on the desk and the sub-woofer on the floor the on/off volume pod is rather large and is hard wired to the sub. The standard hole, at least on the roll top desk I was going to use these on is too small to route the pod thru. Now I’m left with putting everything on the desk or leaving the control pod under the desk with the sub. At least for me these were a waste of money
Seems like mixed reviews here. Personally I like this speaker set. Bought them here on woot probably 4-5 months ago and they work great for my needs. Controller is nice. Having the aux in port is cool feature. I ended using some 3M poster stickies to hold down the controller to my desk.
