My unit just arrived and it won’t turn on
You held the power button for two seconds? Left it plugged in for ten minutes or more? Also check that the batteries are wired in securely.
(I have one of these, it helps to read the manual.)
I did press the button for 2+ seconds and leave it plugged in overnight, but I’ll check the battery connection. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hope it works for you. I’ve had 3-4 of these, batteries are easy to replace (unlike some APCs). I’ve kept running through several power outages with these, even watching a movie in my home theater.
No such luck. Still waiting for Woot support to get back to me.
By the way, I don’t think the batteries they refurbish these with are OEM– see picture attached. I have a near-identical unit I bought new a few years ago from Costco, I’ll open it up later to take a look at its batteries.
I’ve never seen batteries actually made by Cyber Power. They’re always made by another manufacturer. I’ve bought various different brands off Amazon to replace worn out batteries, without issue.
They’re a commodity, Cyber Power doesn’t have to manufacture or re-brand batteries themselves IMHO.
Hi there. Please checks spam & junk folders. Customer Service replied on 6/19. They’re waiting on your response.
Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
Got mine this week, great shape (like new AFAICT), roughly three hour runtime with my Mac Mini and monitor plugged in. macOS supports scheduled shutdown on battery power natively. (No more having to install manufacturer-specific utilities, though I have happily run Cyber Power’s Windows app.)
