Not entirely a bad deal but it would be better at $50 to $100 cheaper. This seems expensive for an 8th Gen Intel Chip if it was an i9-9th Gen yes. I might bite.
I agree, I like the HP EliteDesk 800-G5 in similar specs and $10 cheaper.
What’s the WI-FI Dongle. 802.11b? If it’s not 802.11ac - it’s a non-starter.
You can get the entire Intel AX M.2 kit (card, cables, antennas) on Amazon for $21 that works with this model. Hardly seems like a cheapo USB WiFi adapter should be the whole decider. I get those all the time with refub desktops I buy for our warehouse folks and I just throw them away (they all get cabled in anyway).
i wonder how this could emulate PS3 or Wii? I guess there is no way to upgrade video card
Some of the comparable HP units have graphics upgrade slots. I’m not sure of these Dell units. I recently picked up a very similar Dell from the mothership for a little less $$ and it came with a lower end wifi module that I disabled and the unit is using hardwired Ethernet now. I am using it as a HTPC for streaming online videos as well as videos stored on my network. I love these micro/USFF units for this purpose.
