If this is a new monitor, why the refurb warranty?

Good question about “refurb” warranty. I thought maybe discontinued, but no, these are still available from the Dell site on sale for $179. So a bit higher, but would have implied Dell support and warranty, and some of you might have Dell Promo GCs to use up (I used to be on that cycle, but I think the GCs had 90-day expiration, and so I ended up buying a lot of stuff I didn’t need, and finally exited the promo GC cycle.)
