De'Longhi Magnifica Plus Fully Automatic Espresso Machine

De'Longhi Magnifica Plus Fully Automatic Espresso Machine

Is this factory refurbished or just a return or what? Not much information on it. Does it include all the original attachments and accessories?

Hi there. Click here for our guide to the various conditions and their definitions.

This one is listed as Refurbished, which seems to be Grade B.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Hi @jersy19 ! This is refurbished and includes Filter, Measuring Scoop, Removable Water Spout, Milk Carafe (hot), Water Hardness Test Indicator. Happy shopping!

What’s the return policy on this/refurbished item? Is it free to return, if so, what’s the return period? Seriously considering this item. Thank you.

Here’s Woot’s return policy:

I just got mine. It looks OK but I simply does NOT work. I just grinds the coffee and then dumps it. Horrible! Now I hope I’m able to return it.

I recently received mine as well. While mine brews a coffee, I noticed one of the parts on the brew group was repaired with epoxy. That and the grinder seems to be grinding way finer that it’s supposed to. I’ve already contacted support to see if I can get an exchange. I really like the coffee maker, and it’s a really good price, but the company that’s “refurbishing” these should really take a look at their process. Though hopefully we’re just the unlucky ones

Update on my machine.

I reached out to woot support, and they gave me 3 options, including a partial refund and keeping the machine (bro move! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:). Though I decided to simply return the machine for a refund. As I just don’t feel like I can trust the work of the company that refurbished these.

Though, as I stated before, I’m more than likely an unlucky minority that got a bad machine. I’m assuming most people who get these machines would probably get a perfectly fine machine. But I can’t deny what I got. Buyer beware etc, etc.

Either way, shoutouts to woot support. The only reason I took a chance on this is because I knew they would have my back. Glad to know my assumption wasn’t poorly placed

what was the third option? Sending a replacement?

I’m very critical of woot deals, but I will say you are correct that customer support and even participation in this forum are second to none!

If you are limited on the price, I’d recommend the Magnifica Start, it’s the same internals and makes a great cup of espresso. Costs about 500 new.

I actually wound up getting a kitchenaid kf6 direct from kitchenaid for $900, since I was able to combine their Labor Day sale with a coupon I had.

And to any woot employees reading, DO NOT put the $999 kf8 back on the store! I don’t think my poor little heart could handle that kind of buyers remorse. I’m already kicking myself in hindsight for not getting it while it was available lol  :sob:

Also, yes, the third option was a direct replacement (if they had stock)

I got mine today as well, was quite surprised after the mess with the last one I ordered. This one was used for sure, but was VERY clean and seems to be working VERY well. I have pulled the brew group and inspected and yes there is signs of use, but nothing broken, glued, missing. Made a couple test drinks and got a nice rich espresso, and a solid compact puck. Screen is flawless, in fact everything but the brew group look brand new. Also made a cappuccino and the frothier works well(also broken on last one). Will spend more time with it tomorrow, but first impression are I got lucky with this one. Might suggest asking woot for replacement rather than just returning as they are now sold out(maybe they have a couple still).
