The 50’s called and wants its shirts back.
You can do anything you want, as long as it’s in the style of mid-century modern!

No politics, no cream shirts.
No celebrity likenesses in mockups/detail images.
One design per entry.
Up to 4 entries per artist.

**This Derby begins MONDAY February 14 at 8pm, CST. & ends MONDAY February 21 at 8pm, CST. The three winning designs will be featured as the Daily offers Tuesday-Thursday. Great designs that don’t win may be included in an Editor’s Choice sale on Friday, so be sure to check back and see who makes the cut!

50’s and 60’s fair game, I assume? Trying to pin down which definition of mid-century modern we’re going with. Pop-Art included?

When googling it, you get a lot of the tiki and bewitched style. One of my favorite artists fits in this category.

I am sure that there is more than just this, since the OP talked about comic book art.
Google “mid century advertising” to get a taste of some other styles.

Love love love this theme! Designers, I’m counting on you. I want to see some edges and angles, arches, starburst type things, kidney shapes, cowgirls, rock-a-billy, 2-D (perspective-free), diner neon sign designs! Please.
