Do you still listen to music (not talk radio or sports) on the radio?
I don’t listen to music too begin with.
I like to be in control of my playlists and don’t like hearing commercials, but sometimes I just do the radio
There’s not a damned thing on radio WORTH listening to. I have a library of over 5000 songs on a local server jukebox. There’s a few non-commercial artists on g@@gletube I follow. I’m good.
I like the Mexican radio. I can’t easily find those songs through streaming. Not sure why, but the radio songs sound better than the premade playlists.
I rarely take a shower without the radio on and when doing yardwork and gardening I have an old CD cassette boom box that the radio is the only thing that still works.
Often, especially if you include SiriusXM.
yes because during my commute they also give traffic updates and minimize commercials.
plus they play good music
Tbh music is better than sports on radio
When riding in the car it’s radio. Otherwise, it’s Apple Music. Sometimes a specific song, sometimes some specific era.
Sometimes I get a wild hair and turn to the old fm dial.
In a pinch, I do listen to music on the radio. NOT my 1st choice.
Few Bluetooth speakers or devices offer a radio option.
Not that they would survive the EMP.
Heard this the other day driving… Classic
Comercials stink but I channel hop
This is a great poll question.
I thought this chat would be filled with versions of “Nope”. But once again the Woot audience is more eclectic that I realized. The responses are fascinating!
FM…No static at all…
I have an hour+ commute and have never gotten into audio books, podcasts, or Spotify. With the preselects I don’t get stuck with commercials or songs I don’t like.
Do I want the morning show? Do I want pop? Maybe today is country? Rock? What’s the weather/traffic? The radio is a necessity for my sanity.
