Do these work on spotted lantern flies?
It says it comes with a “mounting bracket.” I’ve seen reviews of this product where it hangs from a stake that goes in the ground. Does this need to be wall mounted somewhere or is the “mounting bracket” the floor stake?
I bought one of these tried it during the day, thinking with the co2 it would attract mosquitos.
The only thing it caught was a poor bumble bee and some moths which fortunately I was able to free him. if there is some sort of spotted lantern fly lure you could put in the cage maybe it would. The problem with this and zappers is they kill the beneficial insects as well. The pest insects usually recover much faster with the loss of beneficial ones.
I got the smaller one. It did not come with any bracket or floor stake. Also they require an outlet.
