Woot!,why did email me that you had no DC44’s to exchange for my return?

#8

I purchased a DC34 and the DC44 both had battery chargeing issue’s !

With the exception of small electronics with few moving parts, many devices with battery-sucking motors work poorly.

They have trouble with batteries on the International Space Station, so why does anyone expect batteries to work well on a glorified Dustbuster?

#10

I have one of these and I really like it. Normal vacuum process is: locate vacuum. Unwrap cord. plug in. Use vacuum. Unplug. Wrap cord. Put away. This vacuum: Go to charging station. Vacuum. Return to charging station.

It does have battery drainage issues, but I thought it was because of the refurbished status. The battery was quite beaten-up when I received mine but everything else was perfect.

Replacement battery is in the $30-$50 range on Amazon.

Can’t comment on the quality of refurbished, but can on the unit overall.

This is great for in-between regular vacuums. I wouldn’t consider it a replacement for a vacuum, but a great addition to one.

Great for the quick cleanups on both hardwoods and carpet. Use it often to cleanup after toddler eats. Works well to suck up the occasional bug should you have ceilings you can’t reach. Also good enough for the quick vacuum to make it appear to your guest you always live in a clean and orderly house.

On the new unit I’ve never had a battery issue. Always had plenty of power for the needs of our house. We tend to use it on the high powered selection 90% of the time.

We probably didn’t. We try to buy only what we can sell. This is a new batch.

#13

We own 2. Similar to above and they work well. Great for inbetween when the maid comes and uses our other Dysons.

#14

Bought the refirb model last time around, and love it! Light & easy to manipulate, awesome suction.

#15

Been using for about 3 years now with no problems. Great for “in between” cleans of my hardwood floors and kitchen floor.

I JUST bought the DC35 refurb from walmart for $169 with FS and it shipped today.

Anyone have any recommendations if this one is worth the extra cost?

#17

Does anyone here have a lot of pet hair to vacuum? And does this work great on pet hair?

#18

I read on Amazon that certain DC models are difficult or impossible to replace the battery. Can you confirm this model has a replaceable battery? Thanks!

It is.

Do these units ship with new batteries??? So many things I buy on Woot with batteries simply do not work due to old worn out batteries. What is the benefit of buying a potentially used item that is worn out only to go through the hassle of having to spend more money to order and replace batteries which brings the price up to a brand new unit?
