Looks like a handheld death ray. Might have to get one.

Got one here a few months ago. Battery life is great. Looks new. Works fine. Would like to find the correct extension tube so as to enable light vacuuming while standing up. Stores have them for other models with a different mating click lock but not this one. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Sorry I can’t help you but I do agree. No way I buy this without an extension tube.

Does this include the attachments like the brush and slim wand? Nothing mentioned about that.

It looks like there are at least a few extension hoses and extra brush types out there. Looks like that long extension handle isn’t on the list though. Pity!

I just finished a quick cleanup with our DC44 Animal that we got here about a year ago for less than $200. These little vacs really suck. No, really. In a good way.

My only complaint? They don’t do so well on carpet or rugs if you have animals with long fur. Sheddings from our two Aussie dogs clog the beater bar. I’ve since taken it out, and just use the vac for bare floors.

I wouldn’t even consider purchasing one without the extension tube and floor head.

I see batteries on ebay from $46. I buy my roomba batteries (I have 2 robots) there and while they may be 10% or so less life than the brand names, its less than half the cost and they work very well.

Also, saw on the Dyson site that the DC58 is now called the Dyson V6 Trigger … might find parts using that name.

ok this doesn’t have anything to do with the vacuum, but it seems like there hasn’t been a woot off in a while, maybe they will spring one on us tonight…

BTW, I have no inside knowleged of that but just feel a tingling in my wallet.
