Yes wondering the same thing about the battery being included. Charger included sounds like maybe battery is not but the image shows a battery while the other tools without a battery do not show it.

Great chain saw. Love it.
EGO sells tools bundled with a charger and battery, and they sell bare tools without either.
I’ve never seen an option to buy a tool with a charger but no battery, so I’m not sure what’s going on here.
Unbelievably good price if it includes a battery.

The model number on EGO website shows battery included.

Well, I jumped in with both feet with the assumption this comes with a battery.
I wouldn’t be buying a chainsaw if it didn’t.

I have this saw. Had 2 trees dropped and I’m doing the rest. 4AH battery gives about 30 to 40 minutes of pure cutting time (cut after cut on 12 inch branch). Or, if cutting, moving, stacking, you can get 2-3 hours of work. Battery has to cool before charging, but takes an hour or so from dead.

Did anyone get theirs?
Did it come with the battery?

Mine, supposedly, was received by the carrier on 6/05 but there has been no update since received. It has me questioning if it was actually shipped.

Mine is also show as ship but I got a message on my UPS tracking.

A hazardous materials irregularity occurred with this package. We’ll contact the sender with additional information.

From what I’ve read it usually means the send it back to the shipper. I emailed Woot to see where my order is

Just got off the phone with UPS hazardous material. Apparently woot in their wooty shipping ways neglected to label that the item included a lithium battery triggering the item to be held by Ups indefinitely. I imagine many of us were impacted by this. Apparently woot can either pick these items back up or has to reply to ups with letters clarifying the item contents to get them to move forward. @ThunderThighs @wootbot

Not yet. They’re pretty swamped with all the stuff going on this week.

Update: We’ll have to reach out to the vendor. Since they’re the sender, they’ll have to be the ones to look into it.
