Looks pretty fancy. Husky hair would choke it.
You think? Thats why I was going to buy it. I have to vacuum my Husky like every other day when shes shedding.
We bought this last sale to help with our Newfie between groomings. Have concerns about the hair clogging it too (as it does for every vacuum we’ve every tried). If we ever get the time to use it, I’ll report back.
What a bunch of BS. Amazon right now shows this as #139.99 - NOT ON SALE. But here is shows normal price as $249.99 for the same thing? Why lie Amazon? And it was $62.99 just a few days ago on Amazon.com. Man I’m done with Woot / Amazon.
I know it’s practically rocket science, but here’s how it works: $249.99 is the MSRP, Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price. The manufacturer typically cannot control what price a retailer charges for their product, but they can suggest a maximum price. Most retailers will sell it for less than that price (far less if the MSRP is inflated like on this product). Woot actually lists the MSRP as a “pointless price” because they are often inflated.
Further complicating the issue is that Amazon does not actually sell most of the products with the strange manufacturer names, they are actually sold by a third-party and either shipped by Amazon or shipped directly by the seller. That means that Amazon doesn’t set the price, the third-party seller does. Amazon just collects a transaction fee for handling the sale (and additional fees for storing the items in their warehouse and shipping them out if the seller utilizes that service). The seller is free to change the price as often as they want.
When a product is sold on Woot, it is typically selling for less than it has ever sold for on Amazon. That’s the case with this product, the lowest it has ever sold for on Amazon (according to a third-party price-tracking website) is the $62.99 it sold for during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday frenzy. Prior to that, the lowest ever price was about $80.
Woot’s current price is nearly 13% less then the lowest-ever price on Amazon. That’s the real takeaway here.
Very nice response.
I’m pretty sure this would scare my cat.
Yea, pretty sure our dogs wouldn’t go near it.
This would be great if I was looking for my dogs to move out!!!
Sounds like you would have to empty it 6+ times. Reviews are mixed as to quality. If you pay a groomer, probably worth the gamble for the price of 1 visit.
