We think we’re a go. They just tested it and it seems to be working. I gave CS the list of names that posted here and they’re going to look back through old contacts as well.

If you prefer though, you can contact them by following the instructions above.

Hey TT, I did and just received the same boilerplate message:
‘Due to technical issues, we are currently not able to update emails on customer account’s. I’m sorry for the inconvenience in this regard.’

So is it fixed … or are there still issues? Thanks!

Well, it’s working for one person so we’re still touch-n-go. That person is out today so hang tight.

Well shouldn’t support just hold on to my request until that person comes back? These emails are not helpful. In the meantime I have a broken device and my warranty period is expiring.

For your warranty, reach out to them via the support form and ask them to respond to a different email. Tell them that you’ve requested an email change but CS is unable to do so.

And yes, I’ve given them a list of the ones I know of and asked them to search through contacts.

I haven’t received any response after the 1st pseudo fix and based on early feedback from other wooters, this issue seems to persist. Another 7 days to wait?

I’m sorry. They only got it working for one person’s login and he’s been on vacay all week. Hopefully next week?

My sister has an account but it has temporarily locked also she orders iPhones in the account will there be a solution out and also will her phones be shipped out

Sorry, that’s not enough information for me to look up anything. Have her reach out to support@woot.com from the email address she has on her Woot account.

Why must you do this, you ask? It’s simple. Amazon prides itself on protecting customer data. Third party companies, like Woot, that use Amazon’s Login with Amazon widget do not have access to your login credentials. You type it in to the code/widget they give us, it goes to Amazon for verification, and we get back a yes or no. That’s it. We do not have a way to view your Amazon login email.

But that isn’t true. Amazon sends Woot back the data.

Amazon owns the login widget. The info comes from them for display but does not come into our system.

I realized I never received any emails from woot.com (login via Amazon), not even order confirmation / customer tickets. Does woot.com have problem delivering to Zoho hosted email?

Not that I know of. Make sure woot.com and amazon.com are on your safe senders list.

Is there a direct email to contact woot support since I can’t receive emails from woot, and can’t change my woot email address because of login with Amazon. imo woot should really check outbound email delivery issues. I spent half an hour on the phone and couldn’t get anyone from woot to answer the call about an order issue.

Getting help updating your email address on your Woot! account

So your email address on your Woot! account is an email address you haven’t used in over five years and you don’t remember the password. What ya gonna do? You’re going to contact Woot! Customer Service! They will help you update the email address so you can login in and update your settings. Follow these instructions as you must provide certain information to verify who you are.

Email support@woot.com with the following:

Subject: Help changing my Woot! email address

I need help changing my Woot! email address.

Woot username: the name you see when you log in

Full Name: the name on the account

Old email address: this is the email address you need to change

New email address: this is the email address you now use

Billing Address: For security verification, please give your latest billing address with zip code

Thank you.

Allow CS 48-72 hours to complete the request. They will respond to your email when the change is complete with instructions on how to proceed.

Is the woot forum email different than the woot.com one. I have my proper email for the site, but when I go to forum display email it shows a long Amazon login type email.

That’s for a service which was never activated. It’s different from your actual email address for privacy reasons.
