Rearranging your bedroom has never been easier!
These are great for art students, budding artists, or crafts.
Missed these on woot and bought at the mothership. Nice wood if a little lightweight, but a couple things to be clear on:
- GLUE. If you don’t use up a small container of wood glue putting together two of these, you’ve not used enough glue and the drawers will warp and creak with only a little use.
- The wheels are absolute junk. Both kits had the wood split when pressing the wheel posts in. Just don’t even bother; skip the wheels and put on some cheap slider feet. Or do like I did, cut a piece of plywood to the same size as the bottom, spray the edges black so it’s not easily visible, and put some real wheels on.
The issue that the holes and the wheel posts are not sized properly. If I remember correctly, what I discovered after the 1st wheel post split the wood, was that the hole appeared metric and the post was SAE sized. Drilling out the hole to the correct size, which was still a properly snug fit for the wheel post, worked for the other 3 just fine. I figured this out by applying metric / SAE drill bits to the hole and measuring the post with calipers.
