Expedited shipping ain’t so expedited

There is literally no point in paying for expedited shipping, as it doesn’t mean 1 or 2 days from the date of purchase it means 1 or 2 days from the date of shipping, which is not made clear. I paid for 2 day shipping, seeing the estimated delivery date on the website as Friday or Saturday, which was fine but nothing showed up. My estimated delivery date is now the following Tuesday, a day after I am due to leave on a trip. I have gotten a refund on the fee I paid for expedited shipping, (thanks CS) but it really needs to be made clearer that the policy is not 1 or 2 day from purchase but from shipping, and that there is no point in paying for faster shipping because it will arrive on the same date anyway.

You are correct. It is expedited shipping, not order processing. I thought it was in our FAQ but I’m not finding it. I’ll bring this up.

What if I need my order faster?
Using Login with Amazon Prime gives you free standard shipping. Expedited shipping, if available, will be shown on the check out screen. Expedited shipping only affects the shipping speed. The order will still take the usual time for processing, picking, preparing to ship, and so on. Please note that Customer Service can’t change the shipping speed on orders.

( from 📧 How to reach Woot! Customer Service , maybe not the easiest place to find it?)

Thanks for finding that.

I think the tricky thing is that there are estimated arrival dates on the shipping choices when you order, which creates an impression when the items will arrive, even if in a hard to find small print it does say that it is 2 days from shipping. It should be clearer and the estimated dates should factor in picking, packing and processing.
