These seem to run a bit large. I ordered M last time and it fits more like a L.
Agreed - I ordered 3 large, and I should have ordered Small or Medium. They are definitely not sized correctly.
I ordered 4XL and they fit like a 2XL. Very disappointed in these and I regret purchasing.
I normally wear XL T shirts, I ordered 2XL and they fit perfectly. Last Time someone had a link to a size chart. They are sure nice for a rough day at the gym!!!
I ordered one size larger 3x than I normally wear 2x and they fit like sausage casings. Nice material, but way too small.
The site said “Standard fit and sizing (not a slim or athletic fit)” so I ordered my typical 2XL, bad move.
I really like the feel and the heathered color, and would order replacements for the ones I gave away. I just don’t know if I should go one or two sizes up?
Well awesome…I would order these in a heartbeat, except no mediums available. I wear mediums and these say they are true to size.
BUT WAIT - apparently they run large, so I can get these in small. Yay!

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE SIZES SO I CAN ORDER SOME ALREADY!!!
Hrm…I see these are covered by the Woot 90 warranty, which means if it says “standard sizing” and it turns out to be “non-standard” when I get it, I should be covered. Right? Probably. Eh.
Answer: Correct

I ordered 4 MEDIUM shirts the other day when they were for sale, and I’d say that they run a bit on the big size.
Not enough that I’d bother sending them back though. But enough that I’d order SMALL next time.

Haha, I know… I am usually either a L or XL, a bit of an inbetween guy, should I get the L?
I bought every color but red/ yellow last Woot and they are every bit as good as DryFit Nike…but 70% cheaper. The XL are perfect size…
From personal experience, and those of others, is appears that:
- The small sizes run larger than usual (s/m feel like m/l)
- The larger sizes run smaller than usual (2x feels like L)
I purchased some 2X FILA shirts here before. Too small. I gave them to my dad. They fit him perfectly.
Buy some shirts. If they don’t fit you, you can give them to my dad.
I ordered 2x and it was more like an xl. Nice shirts though.
got 5 in xl. Have worn to the gym twice already, fits true to size XL atleast.
Enough size discussion; what about the material? You’re saying it’s okay for a workout, but what about wearing these:
-
for a non-gym workout, e.g. hiking for half a day in a hot, humid environment?
-
for a day just for walking around or working in a warm, humid environment?
I’ve always gone with cotton, b/c in my experience polyester felt uncomfortable and sticky rather quickly. Is Fila’s material blend really any different?

Performance poly garments are made for what you reference above. They breath better than cotton, release moisture better than cotton, and, with the addition of spandex, can feel better than cotton.
Cotton is great for indoors, but poly has come a long way since the 70’s.
You can also look into “charged cotton”. It has some of the features a performance poly does, but retains a more cotton feel. It won’t perform as well, but it is a good active option, too.
If you have a sizing issue with your tee (and it wasn’t self inflicted), i.e. your Large is a much fuller fit than you thought and wish you bought a Small, etc., please feel free to contact Customer Service and we’ll help out on a case-by-case basis.
I’m 6’6" and @ 250lbs, and am halfway from fat to muscular. I normally wear 2XL tees which are slightly loose, as I like them. These 2XL are slightly less loose but fit perfectly for working out. These are probably the closest thing to a fitted shirt I own now, without being unflattering to my beer gut.
