Does the natural gas model come with the adapter kit? Shown on the website as a separate item/accessory, see here:
https://fuegoliving.com/product-category/grills-accessories/
Also be advised that W-S (video) no longer carries this product nor any of the accessories. Pizza stone add-on is out of stock at Amazon.
And - the lid of this thing appears to be permanently vented, how well does it really work as a “convection oven”?
Food (hah, see what I did here?) for thought…
How does grease collect?? On the propane tank?
Showed this to my wife and she said, “It looks like a garbage can.” Oh well.
It appears that a regular round pizza stone could be used if it left a gap around the edge for heat to circulate when the lid was down.
If it was only me or I was limited in space (and I didn’t already own a Weber) I might consider this.
If you take time to read, you will note there is a residue collector.
Is this the 2011, 2014, or 2016 model?
Snarky?
…but true.
Hi aphroatlas,
Thank you for your questions. Please see responses below:
-
Yes, the natural gas model comes complete with 10ft NG hose fitted with a 1/2" quick disconnect fitting ready to hook up to your natural gas supply line. You may need an adapter to connect depending on your current house connection.
-
For accessories, we currently offer two outdoor cover choices, a clip on side shelf and griddle plate. At this time the pizza stone has been discontinued but we have found any aftermarket stone measuring 15"-16.5" placed on top of the cooking grate works great. The link in the note above is accurate.
-
Correct on the lid vents. This feature is by design as this grill gets very hot, so the vents are needed for heat control.
Hope this information helps.

Hi giolee88,
The grill has a residue tray located between the bottom of the firebowl and top of the control panel section which collects the grease. No grease makes it way into the tank storage area so you will have a clean tank.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Jon651,
Yes, a standard pizza stone measuring 15"-16.5" placed on top of the cooking grate works great for pizza. It is important to use this size of stone for heat circulations.
Thank you for your reply.

If I get the NG version, can I use the area where the tank is for storage? Maybe a kegerator?
Does it come with the tray? Also do you need to replace the hood to use it for convection heat? Do the covers on your website fit this model? What are the differences between the current 2016 model and this 2014 model?
Hi rrussell,
The NG hose will run through this area and through the bottom of the wheel base so you will need to contend with this, but will have some room for storage of grilling tools and such. As far as fitting a keg in there, likely will not have enough space, but invite you to try however you may have a hard time keeping it cold with all the heat from above.
Hope this info helps.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Does it come with the propane tank, and propane tank adapter/fittings?
thanks!
Laura
Hi blkseaton,
Please see responses below:
-
The grill comes with the residue tray. If you are referring to the side shelf, this would be an optional accessory.
-
The same lid is used for any style of cooking. You can also opt to cook with the lid off for open faced grilling.
-
Yes, all covers shown on our website are compatible with these models.

Changes for 2014 vs 2016
Packaging Improvements:
We have introduced a packaging to help prevent shipping damage on the 2016 model.
Wheels Now Preassembled:
The grill now comes with the wheels preinstalled. Several customers noted that wheel installation consumed 30% or more of the total time to assemble the grill (and a few folks hated the simple wrench included for installing the wheels). Now, we believe the Fuego Element offers the simplest, fastest assembly time in its class.
Electronic Ignition Changes:
For 2016, the electronic ignition has been separated from the control knob. While Fuego heard few complaints about our integrated ignition system, our industry wide survey revealed ignition issues were a top complaint for other grill manufactures. Our engineers determined that separating our ignition from the control knob should improve our ignition performance over the long term and would simplify any future ignition servicing or replacement.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi lauramalter,
The grill does come with the propane regulator connection. However it does not come with the actual tank. It uses a standard 20lb tank available locally at most hardware stores, gas stations, grocery stores, or other location that offers propane tanks which you will need to obtain separately.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
