I didn’t even look at the price, but… I have this same one. My projector ONLY has HDMI, so to play the original modded wii, I have to use this. It’s not going to be true HDMI, but for what it does, it does a decent job.
well, the price Woot was selling it for ($22.57) is right there in the screenshot posted earlier, the price it is at the Amazon sale this was pulled from ($16.64) is in the link posted earlier, and some sample eBay prices (all under $5, with free shipping) are in the eBay links posted earlier. I bought 1 of these many years ago and it was horrible. the video quality was very low, and had a constant flashing purple bar along 1 side of the screen. the audio worked about half the time, and when it did it was low and muffled and had a constant hum. I read many bad reviews for them after the fact, kinda wish I read them before I bought it. At least I didn’t pay Amazon or Woot prices for mine.
well, as I said… I didn’t look at the price because I wasn’t talking about the price point. I just assumed that everyone was right on that. As far as quality goes, I guess I got one of the good ones. I never experience any of the issues with which yours was plagued. Meh… I guess I was due to get lucky with a purchase once in my life…
